Abstract

Face à la disparition progressive du saumon atlantique de la plupart des grands cours d'eau français depuis le milieu du 18e siècle, les experts concluent à une trop forte exploitation. D'où une série de mesures prises au milieu du 19e siècle pour essayer d'enrayer ce phénomène. Malgré ces mesures diverses et variées la diminution de la fréquentation de nos cours d'eau par le saumon atlantique ne s'est pas inversée. Ce phénomène tend à se poursuivre actuellement en dépit d'études appropriées entreprises par les scientifiques et les chercheurs.
