Abstract

Initier des démarches collaboratives et contractualisées entre consommateurs et producteurs constitue un enjeu majeur pour le marketing, notamment dans le cadre des circuits courts alimentaires. Les Associations pour le Maintien de l'Agriculture Paysanne (AMAP) constituent un cas d'étude pour de telles démarches. La spécificité de cette forme de consommation vient de l'engagement mutuel, sous forme associative, entre producteur(s) et consommateurs. L'engagement du consommateur amapien est si contraignant que ce système est souvent perçu comme ne pouvant s'adresser qu'à ceux, minoritaires, qui y sont disposés a priori. L'article montre que la com-munauté amapienne peut au contraire substantiellement influencer l'adhésion et la rétention des consommateurs.
