Abstract

L'objectif général des travaux de la Chaire « Entreprises et Économie Agricole », fruit du partenariat entre le Crédit Agricole en Bretagne et AGROCAMPUS OUEST, est d'identifier et étudier les différents facteurs qui expliquent l'évolution des structures agricoles et de leurs performances, en France et plus spécifiquement en Bretagne. Ces travaux doivent permettre de réfléchir à ce que pourrait être le « modèle agricole » breton d'ici 10 à 15 ans, et aux moyens à mettre en place tant aux niveaux humains, organisationnels, financiers que politiques, pour accompagner ou infléchir les tendances à l'œuvre. Dans ce cadre, l'objectif de la thèse qui se déroule depuis octobre 2015 à l'UMR SMART-LERECO, est d'analyser les comportements d'investissement des agriculteurs, les liens avec la performance et le cycle de vie des exploitations agricoles, ainsi que les politiques publiques. La troisième partie de cette thèse vise en particulier à identifier le rôle des interactions sociales dues à la proximité géographique d'autres producteurs sur le comportement d'investissement des éleveurs laitiers d'Ille-et-Vilaine.
