Abstract

La pollution diffuse se révèle être le problème majeur concernant les atteintes subies par les milieux aquatiques continentaux ou littoraux, sachant que l'essentiel provient de l'agriculture. Ainsi pour la rade de Brest, on estime que l'agriculture est à l'origine de 85 à 90% des apports de nitrate. Cette contribution présente différents travaux conduits aux Etats-Unis qui utilisent les principes du couplage des modèles biophysiques et économiques. La mise en oeuvre de ce type de modèle peut s'envisager au niveau de la Bretagne entière ou pour des bassins versants plus limités.
