Abstract

Cette étude fondée sur un dépouillement particulier du RICA (Réseau d'Information Comptable Agricole), réalisé à la demande de l'INRA par le SCEES envisage le revenu agricole, le patrimoine agricole, l'endettement des exploitations, et leur cumul, successivement pour les petits paysans, pour les paysans moyens et pour la frange inférieure de la grande paysannerie. Il s'agit d'exploitations françaises du RICA, exploitations "pérennes" (observées "continuellement"), sur trois exercices (1973, 1974 et 1975), d'"agriculteurs proprement dits", sans activité professionnelle exercée à titre principal hors de l'exploitation et non retraités ou plus précisément non bénéficiaires d'une retraite.
