Abstract

Les exportations agricoles et agroalimentaires francaises se sont developpees a l'abri de la protection fournie par la Politique Agricole Commune. Ce jugement d'expert ne semble pas contestable malgre l'incertitude qui demeure sur le role exact des prix dans ce developpement. Les pressions qui s'exercent actuellement sur la PAC rendent tres difficile et donc peu problable le maintien du statu quo en matiere de protection de l'agriculture. Les exportations agricoles et agroalimentaires francaises risquent-elles alors d'etre remises en cause? Faute de recherches suffisantes, il est difficile de repondre a cette question. Des informations partielles suggerent qu'en matiere de ble, une partie au moins de la production francaise devrait etre competitive.
