Abstract

Cette publication regroupe les premiers travaux du réseau HOST (Histoire et observation des transformations sociales), travaux destinés à revisiter les théories économiques et sociales du changement qui ont inspiré les stratégies de développement dans les pays du Sud durant ces trois dernières décennies. Opposés aux approches trop uniformisantes qui inscrivent des stratégies de développement sans références explicites aux situations concrètes ou aux cheminements spécifiques, les articles proposés ici mettent l'accent sur la longue période et le repérage des variables et des processus de la singularité.
