Abstract

L'objet de l'article est de proposer une grille d'analyse de la géographie de l'innovation des nouvelles entreprises biotechnologiques prenant en compte la diversité des modèles d'entreprise. Cette recherche s'appuie sur l'analyse comparée de 61 nouvelles entreprises de biotechnologie françaises et de leurs 129 fondateurs. Quatre modèles d'entreprises sont différenciés, chacun reposant sur des compétences, des équipes de fondateurs, des ressources mobilisées pour assurer la viabilité de leur projet et des géographies de l'innovation distinctes.
