Abstract

La région de la Cuenca de la Plata située à la frontière entre l'Uruguay et l'Argentine produit des agrumes. Depuis le début des années 90 il y a une évolution importante du contexte concurrentiel des entreprises situées dans cette région, en raison en particulier du rôle croissant de la grande distribution européenne, principal client et débouché pour la production agricole. La pression sur les prix, la mise en concurrence, les exigences de régularité des qualités et des quantités s'imposent de manière identique en Argentine et en Uruguay et devraient tendre à homogénéiser les territoires. La permanence de sous-systèmes différenciés et une résistance à l'effacement des frontières ont été observées.
