Abstract

Dans cet article, l'auteur, chercheuse et docteur en sciences de gestion, rappelle l'histoire des surintendantes d'usines, le rôle socio économique du travail social d'entreprise et l'apport de ces professionnels dans ce champ. Aujourd'hui, la contribution à la gestion des ressources humaines aux niveaux individuels et organisationnels fait évoluer ce métier vers celui de conseiller du travail dont la place dans l'encadrement des ressources humaines est à affirmer.
