Abstract

In France, over the last forty years (1975-2015), the national economic policy main orientations and agenda conditioned the local public finance changes. Local taxes, local equipment funding, and financial relations between central state and the local bodies, illustrate this influence. For many, it's time to a new formalisation of the relations in the public sphere.
