Abstract

L'article apporte une issue au débat entre défenseurs d'une forte formalisation du management de projet et partisans d'une démarche flexible, fondée sur l'adaptation continue. En s'appuyant sur le courant émergent de l'improvisation organisationnelle, il analyse comment il est possible de structurer la démarche d'une équipe projet, tout en lui laissant la possibilité d'agir face à une surprise ou à une opportunité. Il propose des moyens organisationnels pour mettre en oeuvre cette approche. La démarche est illustrée par deux cas : l'un issu du secteur industriel et l'autre de l'économie sociale.
