Abstract

La prise de conscience écologique actuelle pose aujourd'hui la nécessité d'améliorer nos connaissances sur les impacts environnementaux des filières agricoles, dont ceux de la filière équine. Cependant, cette dernière se distingue du monde agricole par la place des équidés dans la société. D'une source d'énergie de traction à un animal de compagnie, en passant par un sportif et un « gestionnaire » du paysage, ils sont aujourd'hui au sein d'une pluralité d'usages desquels découlent des patrimoines environnementaux uniques, appelés « atouts verts ».
