Abstract

Face aux logiciels propriétaires les produits distribués par la communauté du logiciel libre gagnent constamment en crédibilité. Des entreprises et des institutions publiques commencent à les adopter à grande échelle, et plusieurs initiatives gouvernementales encouragent leur usage dans la sphère privée. L'objectif de cet article est de présenter les premiers résultats d'un travail en cours dont la finalité est d'améliorer notre connaissance des mécanismes et des déterminants de l'adoption (et du refus) des solutions libres par des utilisateurs finaux. Il s'appuie sur une enquête en ligne et se contente dans un premier temps de dresser un état des lieux concernant l'image et la perception des logiciels libres par nos répondants.
