Abstract

The current extension of Sunday work in France is performed by the multiplication of exemptions to Sunday rest. The significant increasing number of collective bargaining agreements on this subject between 2011 and 2016 indicates that Sunday work is more and more regulated at the firms' level. The expansion of Sunday work divides concerned workers according the business sectors, the companies' rules and the workers' positions within firms.
