Abstract

L'étude du concept de flexibilité, appliqué aux systèmes de production, a conduit à mettre en évidence son caractère polymorphe, c'est-à-dire le fait qu'elle peut prendre des formes différentes selon l'objectif de flexibilité poursuivi. En ce qui concerne les systèmes d'information, cette particularité de la flexibilité n'a été que partiellement reprise. L'objectif de la communication est de proposer une grille d'analyse de la flexibilité d'un S.I., mettant en relation des besoins en flexibilité et des réponses possibles. Cette grille a été utilisée sur trois cas pour montrer des formes différentes de flexibilité et expliquer pourquoi elles diffèrent. Deux des cas ont fait l'objet d'une recherche antérieure [Jacome, 2009], le troisième est issu de la littérature. La recherche a mis en évidence que la forme de flexibilité d'un S.I. dépend des contraintes de changement aux-quelles le S.I. est soumis et du type de flexibilité visée.
