Abstract

Le projet entrepreneurial est une figure émergente qui devient dans la dynamique créative des organisations de plus en plus marquante depuis une dizaine d'années. Pour la saisir dans son originalité et les nouveaux enjeux dont elle semble être l'expression, cette figure est resituée dans le contexte historique des formes classiques de création et d'innovation organisationnelles qui ont occupé les dernières décennies du XXe siècle : trois formes dominantes sont ici passées en revue, le projet d'entreprise, le management par projet et la création d'entreprise. Au regard de cette approche historique, le projet entrepreneurial est appréhendé dans ce papier comme une forme métissée de projet d'entreprise et de création d'entreprise. Cette forme métissée nous amène à nous interroger sur l'activité entrepreneuriale et le métier d'entrepreneur ainsi que sur le devenir de cette activité qu'il cherche à incarner entre désir personnel et injonction environnementale.
