Abstract

Si le rejet de la technique a été largement étudié, les recherches sur l'attirance vers la technique ont principalement porté sur les hackers, population très médiatisée mais minoritaire, et dont le goût s'apparente parfois à une addiction. Or, beaucoup d'amateurs de technique sont des gens moins excessifs, mais qui orientent, voire construisent toute une vie professionnelle sur ce goût. Parmi ces personnes, on trouve une majorité d'hommes, mais aussi des femmes, qui expriment un attachement à la technique sans paraître perturbées dans leur identité. L'objectif de la recherche présentée ici est d'explorer la relation que les acteurs peuvent entretenir avec la technique dans un contexte professionnel, pour chercher à comprendre comment les normes de genre y sont confortées ou défiées.
