Abstract

This exploratory research focuses on the resources mobilized by companies to implement a responsible approach. Our objective is to path out of success stories and propose a grid of intelligibility of divergent approaches used by companies of the same sector. We are particularly interested in the nature and value of the solicited resources while questioning the differences in perception according to the strategy of the company. We present the results of a case study conducted in three family businesses within the printing sector. Data collection is based on a series of three semi-structured interviews per company and secondary data collection. We then proceeded to a thematic content analysis. Our results highlight that the same resource can be perceived differently depending on the context and the actors who mobilize it. They lead to a model proposition of the resource value-building process in a orporate social responsibility (CSR) approach.
