Abstract

Cet article vise à identifier les compétences mobilisées par les acteurs pour prendre en charge des situations à risques. Il s'appuie sur une enquête de terrain relative à une activité peu formalisée : l'activité de manutention lourde dans une usine de production de sous-marins nucléaires lanceurs d'engins. En nous appuyant sur le concept d'« extension de l'expérience » de Dewey (2005 (1934)), nous montrons en quoi la capacité des acteurs à acquérir une expérience du travail réel est une compétence clé de la haute fiabilité. Cela apporte de nouvelles pistes pour le management des compétences et des risques.
