Abstract

La réforme de la PAC et les démêlés du GATT ont suscité ces derniers mois une littérature spécialisée qui s'enrichit de jour en jour. L'équipe animée par L. Mahé (Guyomard et Mahé, 1992) clarifie grandement la polémique en examinant les conséquences au niveau communautaire de l'application chiffrée du dispositif profilé par la Commission. Les auteurs ont, dans ce but, confectionné un Modèle International Simplifié de Simulation afin de scruter l'impact des politiques agricoles novatrices auprès des géants du commerce agroalimentaire mondial que sont, en particulier, les USA et la CEE : il illustre les hypothèses conçues par l' état- major de la DG VI.
