Abstract

L'étude comparative des conditions de mariées vie et de travail des femmes actives dans l'agriculture, menée en 1978 crans six pays européens, permet de situer la place de la femme dans l'exploitation agricole familiale, à un moment de profonde mutation de ce secteur d'activité. parmi les effets escomptés des transformations de l'agriculture, il en est un oui est assez souvent avancé : la régression de l'activité féminine familiale dans la production aquicole modernisée. Notre connaissance de la situation en France nous permettait d'en douter, mais qu'en était-il dans les autres pal,s européens ? comment situer objectivement la place de la femme dans l'exploitation agricole sinon en essayant de cerner quantitativement, l'ampleur de sa contribution au travail ?
