Abstract

Les GAFAM (Google, Apple, Facebook, Amazon, Microsoft) sont des entreprises multinationales qui dominent l'économie et la finance mondiales modernes. La domination qu'elles exercent sur l'économie numérique est considérable et leur efficacité est redoutable. Cependant, ces entreprises commencent à être contestées pour l'utilisation qu'elles font des informations fournies par leurs utilisateurs et par leur comportement prédateur, ce qui pose plusieurs problèmes concernant notamment la démocratie, les situations de monopoles sectoriels, les finances publiques, les paradis fiscaux, les questions militaires et civiles de renseignement, le contrôle de technologies essentielles dans l'économie moderne, la spéculation financière et l'ambition débordante de leurs dirigeants.
