Positionnement de la fonction contrôle de gestion dans les armées françaises

Abstract

Depuis deux décennies, nombre de revues professionnelles s'attachent à décrire les contrôleurs de gestion comme des "héros", tantôt "business partners", tantôt "agents du changement" (Lambert, 2005). Cependant, les travaux académiques s'intéressant au rôle des contrôleurs de gestion montrent que ces derniers rencontrent parfois des difficultés à atteindre ce rôle tant convoité de "partenaire opérationnel" (Lambert et Sponem, 2009). Au coeur de nombreux paradoxes, le projet "altruiste" d'aide au management des contrôleurs de gestion rencontre de nombreuses limites et ne remporte pas toujours l'adhésion. Dans de nombreux cas, les managers refusent de se faire aider (Bouquin, 2010), pensant notamment confesser leur incompétence. La crise financière de 2008, loin d'avoir émancipés les contrôleurs de gestion, les a réduits à un rôle de "cracheurs de chiffres" qui obère leurs missions principales : l'analyse et l'aide à la décision (Nguyen et De Laigue, 2010). Rivés toute la journée sur leurs reportings, ils rêvent de retrouver un jour un positionnement plus épanouissant de "bras droit du décideur".
