La grande transformation du métier de chercheur

Abstract

Cette chronique a pour objectif de décrire les transformations en cours du métier de chercheur en sciences de gestion. J'examinerai d'abord pourquoi le décathlonien, modèle standard de l'enseignant-chercheur, est en voie d'extinction. J'indiquerai ensuite pourquoi le modèle historique de l'artisan-chercheur indépendant est menacé, et décrirai notamment la multitude des nouvelles espèces de spécialistes qui viennent peupler l'univers jadis préservé des artisans-chercheurs – et même empiéter sur ses plates-bandes. J'en tirerai un ensemble d'observations relatives aux nouvelles activités, aux nouveaux métiers et aux nouvelles identités des plus jeunes chercheurs.
