Abstract

• Le dilemme de l'innovateur décrit une situation où une entreprise établie échoue face à l'innovation de rupture, qu'elle s'y engage ou pas. • Cet échec n'est pas dû à l'incompétence du management ou à un manque d'information. Clayton Christensen1 montre que l'hésitation face à la rupture est rationnelle et reliée au modèle d'affaires, qui est lui-même le reflet de l'identité de l'organisation. • Comprendre son propre modèle d'affaires et les contraintes qu'il pose à l'organisation est donc un préalable indispensable pour réussir face une rupture.
