Abstract

"Peur du chômage, du terrorisme, de la mondialisation, de la mutation, de soi et de l'autre… la peur envahit nos vies, altère nos décisions, envenime nos rapports. Contre cette émotion paralysante, il faut nous trouver un antidote. Un publicitaire, Jacques Séguéla, miroir de notre temps, prend le pouls de la France en implosion, répertorie les plus grandes peurs impactant sur notre société et en appelle à notre quotient émotionnel (QE). Un scientifique, Christophe Haag, spécialiste du cerveau et des comportements humains, ausculte à la loupe les mécanismes psychologiques de la peur et nous explique pourquoi et comment développer notre QE. Deux regards complémentaires, une approche psychosociologique, un même constat : la France est rongée par l'angoisse. Il lui faut faire sa propre Révolution Emotion. Le XXe siècle a vécu sous la dictature de la raison (et du QI de son précepteur), générateur d'angoisse. Le XXIe siècle sera celui du QE et des émotions positives qu'il produit, libératrices des énergies et des envies, des idées et des avancées. Il est temps d'unir le QE au QI." Résumé éditeur
