Abstract

The richness and variety of typologies used to analyse inter-firms agreements confirm on the one hand the interest of this tool for scientific purpose and on the other hand the shortcomings of the present proposed tools. This article questions their validity and limits. It is based on the inventory of thirty five typologies published in the French speaking literature during the last 15 years and the analysis of alliances in the French food processing industry.
