Abstract

Neutre ou négativement active selon les théories, la monnaie est un outil qui valide la valeur économique d'un bien ou d'un service. Pour que cet outil soit utilisé, il faut qu'il soit « accepté ». Quelle situation, quel projet, quels rapports de confiance ou de force vont permettre la création d'une monnaie et son développement et quels effets cela aura t-il sur la société ? Pour initier la discussion entre historiens de l'économie ancienne ou récente, la présentation d'une initiative de monnaie parallèle, lancée en 2018 par trois étudiants de l'École nationale supérieure de création industrielle (ENSCI) : La Maille.
