Abstract

L'objectif de cette recherche est de comprendre les représentations sociales du gaspillage alimentaire dans la presse quotidienne nationale française. En effet, la récurrence des discours permet de construire l'information que le consommateur pourra mobiliser en situation d'achat ou de consommation. Le gaspillage alimentaire est-il présenté selon une vision idéologique ? par des arguments monétaires ? par l'urgence du réchauffement climatique ? La presse parle-t-elle du gaspillage alimentaire de manière régulière et croissante ou simplement à des moments clés de l'actualité (par exemple, lors de la journée mondiale du gaspillage alimentaire du 16 octobre) ? L'accent est-il mis sur les causes du gaspillage alimentaire ou sur des exemples de gaspillage ou au contraire, sur des actions de lutte contre le gaspillage alimentaire ? Ces actions concernent-elles des acteurs publics (cantines scolaires, hôpitaux, etc.) ou des acteurs privés (marques, enseignes de distribution, commerçants, etc.) ?
