Le don du bénévole à son association : construction et validation d'une échelle de mesure bidimensionnelle

Abstract

Cette communication propose, en s'appuyant le paradigme de Churchill (1979) de construire et de valider une échelle de mesure du don offert par le bénévole à son association. Une revue de la littérature et une étude qualitative réalisée auprès de trois associations à caractère solidaire nous ont permis de générer un échantillon d'items. Puis, un questionnaire a été construit et diffusé dans les réseaux des bénévoles de la Croix-Rouge et de l'Armée du Salut. A partir du premier échantillon (n=372) l'Analyse en Composante Principale a été effectuée. Dans la deuxième phase, nous avons soumis l'échelle épurée à un deuxième échantillon (n=311). Les analyses confirmatoires ont donné lieu à une mise à jour d'une échelle bidimensionnelle du don l'une consacrée au « don intellectuel » et l'autre au « don attitudinal».
