Abstract

L'objectif de cet article est d'étudier, d'une part, les motivations des partenaires des coentreprises internationales entre les pays émergents et les pays développés et,d'autre part, l'impact de ces motivations sur la performance de l'entité commune.L'analyse de 123 coentreprises internationales en Turquie montre que les motivations des partenaires sont complémentaires. Les parents turcs souhaitent partager les frais de recherche et de développement, maîtriser une nouvelle technologie et obtenir de nouvelles ressources. Les partenaires étrangers sont davantage motivés par la diversification et l'expansion de leur firme, l'accès à de nouveaux marchés et la compatibilité des attentes avec leur partenaire local
