Abstract

In the context of global economic crisis we have all experienced since the fall of 2008, malevolence is becoming an all-too-frequent problem. Thus, both researchers and practitioners are looking forward a humanistic manner to manage people without neglecting profits. In line with such a problematic, the paper [6] advocates the idea that it is time to look forward a benevolent approach of management compatible with economical constraints. The key questions studied in the paper could be summarized in these terms : What does a benevolent approach of human resource management means ? How is it possible to conduct a benevolent approach in HRM ? Does it pay to be benevolent in management ? To shed light on those issues, 3 contrasted case studies have been utilized to analyse the concept of benevolence in the fields of managing skills, high potentials and job prospective.
