Abstract

Pour la première fois, un ouvrage propose un éclairage sur la démarche d'artistes qui présentent des marques dans leurs œuvres, sous forme de logo, d'emballage ou encore de produits. Illustré par 35 œuvres, le livre s'anime autour de différents genres artistiques comme la peinture, l'art plastique, la chanson, le cinéma, la bande dessinée et le street-art. Les artistes montrent, déforment, transforment, voire subliment ou dénoncent le symbole de notre société de consommation que sont les marques. Le lecteur comprend comment les artistes jouent avec les codes émotionnels et nostalgiques des marques. Et finalement, au stade ultime de la création, le livre révèle comment les artistes rendent les marques vivantes. Un livre qui se feuillète au gré des images, au fil des textes qui regorgent d'histoires et d'anecdotes et offre un regard intime sur les artistes et leurs œuvres.
