Abstract

Cet article analyse les décisions de couverture optimale pour des producteurs averses au risque subissant des risques sur récoltes, en supposant la disponibilité des contrats à terme et d'options. Le modèle est appliqué sur un échantillon d'exploitations céréalières françaises d'où l'on dérive les taux de couverture. Le risque individuel sur récolte incluant une forte composante systématique, ces nouveaux instruments sont plus efficaces pour réduire la variabilité des rendements que ne le sont les contrats individuels.
