Une approche des exploitations en situation financière difficile à partir de RICA, 1980-1983

Abstract

L'objectif est de repérer et de caractériser les exploitations dont les difficultés financières sont susceptibles de menacer l'équilibre, voire de mettre en cause la survie. On analyse les exploitations de l'échantillon constant du RICA de 1980 à 1983. Les exploitations en situation dégradée, à un moment donné sont soit de petite taille (production brute inférieure a 150 000 francs en 1980), soit de taille moyenne (production brute de 150 à 500 000 francs). Dans le premier cas, les difficultés existent quel que soit le niveau d'endettement. Dans le second, elles se manifestent pour des niveaux d'endettement différents, croissant avec la dimension économique. De 1980 à 1983,14 pour cent des exploitations sont en situation dégradée de façon permanente; autour de ce noyau, environ 10 pour cent d'exploitations connaissent des difficultés sérieuses à un moment ou à un autre.
