Disparités des valeurs ajoutées agricoles régionales et réforme de la PAC

Abstract

La réforme de la PAC va-t-elle modifier les disparités de revenus agricoles ? Dans cet article, la question est posée pour les régions françaises, dont on simule l'évolution des valeurs ajoutées agricoles d'ici à la fin de la période de transition. Cette projection permet d'évaluer les effets de la réforme sur l'offre de produits et la demande de facteurs variables. La valeur ajoutée se dégrade par rapport à la situation initiale dans les régions de grande culture. Mais par comparaison avec ce qu'aurait pu produire la prolongation de la politique antérieure, la nouvelle politique agricole commune procurerait un avantage relatif à ces régions. Les disparités interrégionales de valeur ajoutée par unité de travail annuel familial (UTAF) ne seraient pas modifiées.
