Abstract

Ce qu'est la santé des agriculteurs et des agricultrices, ce que sont leurs conditions de travail, tel est l'objet de la première partie de l'étude. La mise en relation, selon le sexe et l'âge, de la situation de travail et l'état de santé, l'examen des mécanismes par lesquels la première peut perturber l'équilibre physique ou mental, font l'objet d'une seconde partie. Un dernier chapitre traite des conditions d'adaptation du travail agricole non-salarié - en particulier de sa durée, si considérable - à l'état de santé. L'éleveur et son épouse sont-ils tenus de continuer à travailler autant, aussi durement, alors qu'ils auraient besoin de se reposer, de diminuer leurs efforts, de se soigner ?
