Les marchés oléagineux de l'Europe dans le contexte international

Abstract

Depuis la création de la politique agricole commune (PAC), la France et l'Union européenne (UE) présentent un fort déficit en tourteaux et autres matières riches en protéines. La Bretagne en tant que très faible productrice d'oléagineux et de protéagineux et très forte productrice d'aliments composés, constitue un concentré de cette situation communautaire. La crise des farines de viandes et le débat sur les organismes génétiquement modifiés (OGM) ont mis en lumière les aléas d'une telle dépendance. L'article se propose d'apporter certains éléments sur la situation actuelle de la filière UE des oléagineux par rapport aux autres zones. Les grandes évolutions de la situation communautaire sont analysées et restituées dans les grands mouvements qui affectent le contexte international.
