L’évolution des paroisses catholiques

Abstract

Cette contribution fait une synthèse de l'évolution des fonctions de la paroisse catholique depuis une quarantaine d'années. Le recul des pratiques religieuses, l'effritement des mouvements de socialisation et de jeunesse (sauf l'école) et la déconfessionnalisation des structures d'origine clericale ont réduit leur rôle social. Ce dernier se redéfinît selon une conscience d'appartenance minoritaire a travers de nouveaux mouvements et avec le maintien de certaines cérémonies, surtout en milieu rural.
