Abstract

Les représentations culturelles entourant le métier du manager relèvent des mythes véhiculés par un capitalisme mondialisé triomphant au même titre que les produits ou images publicitaires « mythiques ». L'étude suivante porte sur une série de portraits de managers parus dans l'hebdomadaire allemand Die Zeit, et tente d'en dégager les éléments mythologiques comme l'explication des phénomènes complexes que sont la réussite et la performance économiques par des éléments de psychologie populaire ou par des formes de « storytelling » biographique.
