Abstract

L'analyse porte sur le statut social du paysan. Les transformations de l'agriculture traditionnelle sont suivies pas à pas au fur et à mesure que se développe le capitalisme agro-alimentaire, puis les liens qui se nouent entre les agriculteurs et les industries agro-alimentaires sont observés. Nous serons alors en mesure de mieux saisir la fonction sociale remplie par cette agriculture dans une économie capitaliste. C'est seulement à ce stade que pourront se dégager des perspectives d'action.
