Abstract

Dans un contexte de globalisation des marchés, les start-up françaises sont de plus en plus présentes à l'échelle internationale. L'accélération de l'internationalisation des start-up peut être expliquée par l'effet générationnel, les jeunes créateurs d'entreprises possédant souvent une culture internationale grâce à leurs études, et la croissance des levées de fonds qui pousse les start-up au développement international. Cette nouvelle tendance soulève de nombreuses interrogations pour les start-up et les incubateurs qui les accompagnent dans la réalisation de leurs projets. Quelles sont les caractéristiques de l'expansion internationale de ces jeunes entreprises ? Quels sont les marchés géographiques privilégiés ? Quels sont les modes d'entrée envisagés ? Quel est le rythme de leur internationalisation ? Comment les incubateurs peuvent-ils aider les entrepreneurs dans leurs projets ? Ce sont les principales questions appréhendées dans ce chapitre d'ouvrage.
