Abstract

A sustentabilidade de formas associativas de agricultores familiares depende, entre outros fatores, de sua capacidade de gerenciar os fluxos comerciais de forma eficiente. Para tanto é necessário contornar o baixo nível de escolaridade e dee cultura gerencial dos agricultores e, por conseqüência, de suas formas associativas. Nesse contexto desenvolveu-se um projeto de extensão visando dotar a Associação de Produtores Agroecológicos de João Pessoa-PROHORT-de um sistema de informação que lhe permitisse planejar e controlar as feiras itinerantes nas quais são comercializados seus produtos de forma simples e objetiva. O sistema foi construído em uma abordagem participativa, segundo especificidades da PROHORT. O presente artigo descreve o processo de desenvolvimento do sistema apresentando as atividades e discutindo os resultados de cada etapa desse processo.
