Abstract

CSR submits organizational actors to difficulties such as the simultaneous achievement of its objectives or the management of the environmental pillar. CSR still remains difficult to fully integrate into the corporate strategy. However, actors such as those involved in the organic farming sector face the daily challenge of meeting the three objectives of CSR simultaneously. We mobilized K.E. Weick's Sensemaking theory to explore the processes by which leaders built a sense of CSR that could be integrated into strategy. The results highlight the importance of the role of particular experiences, heuristics and emotions in the construction of CSR meanings.
