Abstract

Ce cas aborde la problématique des technologies de l'information et de la communication, en particulier des objets connectés, comme solution potentielle aux problèmes posés par le vieillissement et la dépendance. Il présente les initiatives technologiques et sociales engagées par Le Clos Lamartine, une résidence privée pour seniors, et met en relief leurs apports. Les questions posées dans le cas amènent les apprenants à découvrir les technologies d'assistance aux personnes âgées (en termes de types de besoins couverts par ces technologies, risques de sécurité et d'éthiques liés, etc.) et propose aussi de se familiariser avec divers modèles d'acceptation des technologies.
