Abstract

Les zones humides et les forêts périurbaines constituent deux catégories de milieux fragiles menacés par l'activité humaine, tant pour ce qui concerne leur surface que leur diversité. Les politiques de gestion de l'espace fondées sur la réglementation, se sont avérées insuffisantes pour limiter les dommages d'autant plus que la fiscalité foncière leur était défavorable. Les politiques publiques n'ont pas pris en compte la valeur sociale de ces écosystèmes pourvoyeurs d'aménités essentielles pour l'homme. Ces menaces sont illustrées par deux études de cas : l'exemple du marais du Cotentin et du Bessin et l'exemple de la forêt de Rennes. Français
