Abstract

Nous nous intéressons au financement participatif sous forme de prêt rémunéré à destination des entreprises. Ce nouveau mode de financement connaît un engouement croissant. L'objectif de notre recherche est d'interroger sa capacité à bouleverser l'accès au financement des PME/TPE en France, donc de confronter ce qui pourrait être un mythe à la réalité. Le socle de notre étude repose sur une étude approfondie des plateformes françaises articulant des entretiens avec leurs dirigeants et une étude documentaire. Elle a été complétée par une étude qualitative auprès d'experts du financement et de chefs d'entreprise. L'analyse met en évidence que si les plateformes de prêt rémunéré sont susceptibles de modifier en profondeur l'accès des PME/TPE françaises au crédit, c'est moins par leur ouverture à un nombre d'entreprises plus large ou leur capacité à mobiliser la foule que par la réaction qu'elles peuvent provoquer dans les banques et la recomposition de la filière du crédit qu'elles sont susceptibles d'insuffler.
