Abstract

Cet article présente l'intérêt que peuvent avoir des critères de bien-être dépendant du rang dans le cadre de l'éthique de la population. Ce champ de recherche s'intéresse à l'évaluation et à la comparaison d'allocations lorsque des populations de tailles différentes sont en jeu. On montre que les critères de bien-être dépendant du rang ne sont pas sujets à plusieurs écueils auxquels sont confrontés les critères utilitaristes (généralisés) habituellement étudiés dans ce champ.
