Abstract
Une décennie s'est écoulée depuis l'entrée en vigueur des normes IFRS applicables aux sociétés cotées en Europe. Ce « passage » aux IFRS a suscité de nombreux débats et interrogations et de nombreux chercheurs ont tenté de mesurer l'impact des nouvelles normes soit par rapport à l'ancien référentiel soit en fonction de leur pertinence informationnelle pour les investisseurs financiers. L'étude poursuit deux objectifs : - faire un bilan, sur la période 2005-2012, de la pertinence informationnelle des normes IFRS à partir d'un échantillon de 272 sociétés cotées sur Euronext (hors secteur finance, assurance et immobilier) et, - analyser l'impact de la crise financière sur la qualité des états financiers perçue par les investisseurs. L'analyse est menée à partir du modèle fondateur d'Ohlson (1995) qui permet de tester la relation entre la valeur boursière et le montant des capitaux propres et du résultat comptable. Un deuxième modèle décompose le résultat pour avoir une estimation des « accruals » à partir du cash-flow d'exploitation. Les résultats obtenus confirment globalement la robustesse de la relation entre les données comptables et les valorisations boursières même si, à la suite de la crise financière, la pertinence informationnelle des états financiers s'est « distendue » en raison de la volatilité induite par la réaction des marchés.
